Does anyone know the exact format for next year's europe league?

I've heard there's two group stages similar to the old Champions League

According to that there's still qualification available via the fair play league, don't suppose we're anywhere near the top of that this year though.

Don't know but it should be knock out from the start, 22 games we will have played if we get to the final well over half a prem season.

So if we do win it this year, we go straight into the knock out stages next season.

Didn`t Zenit end up in the champs league this season? Was that through league position or winning last tears Uefa cup ?

I make it 19

2 v Streymur
2 v midgetland
2 v omonia
4 group games
2 v copenhagen
2 v aalborg
2 v hamburg
2 semis
1 final.

If we win, we'll have to play 17 and if we come 7th we'll have to play 19, it is alot of games though.

You are correct!

Here's a link to the Fair play League

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.premierleague.com/page/FairPlayTable/0,,12306,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.premierleague.com/page/FairP ... 06,00.html</a>

Fulham running away with it, Spurs and West Ham are closest in 5th and 6th place.

Winning it doesnt necessarily get you a Euro place though. One place goes to the representative of the Country that wins the overall FairPlay league.
The rest gets put in a ballot with 7 teams for 2 places.
