Find it kinda strange that Eva wanted her pound of flesh/time in court and turned down 1.2M for the privilege, but not long after the PEG signs for the rags her husband/lawyer (lifelong rag fan) goes for a settlement.

Hmmm curious...

I'm sure she wouldn't have turned down that offer unless her lawyers has said she had a damn good chance of being awarded a higher settlement after a hearing.

I would imagine United didn't want Jose's dirty laundry aired in public but I think you're being dismissive and sexist by suggesting she was influenced by her husband.

I agree.. good on her. Not criticising her at all. I wish he'd have had to pay more and I hope she goes on to have a more successful and rewarding career than she would have had otherwise

She'll never get another job in football again, and rightly so. She should've accepted the settlement offer at the start.
