Ancelotti has stated they have been able to work all week on a particular gameplan.

Be interesting to see what it is and if built to counter against us starting again with a false nine again?

I hope we don't go more conventional and start with Sergio, as I think that also means taking away other fundamental components that make us much greater than the sum of our parts.

Possibly switch out Mahrez for Foden on the right to allow Sterling to come back in, maybe Fern for Rodri?

Otherwise, need to go with strongest balance to get a win today.

Tough game this,Everton’s season can lift off with a win this evening and a chance for them to get to a Wembley semi final.

either team start sluggishly and they lose, so expect a whirlwind first ten minutes, and both capable of defending a two goal lead. Our firepower from mid-field gives me confidence we will see this one out, and if Bernie and Gab play, their stamina will be a big factor.

One thing about typical City was losing the last match before the international break. Hopefully this won’t be the case this evening.

Effectively this is the last match in a very intense run of fixtures going back to December. We’ll start 2 big months after the international break. Some of our players may even get a bit of a rest, Fernandinho, Jesus, Ederson, Aguero, Laporte and Mendy so they should be recharged for the run win.

Just hope we get ourselves through this evening and set ourselves up for a big finish

This is going to be tough for me. My Dad died two days ago and it will be the first City match without him.

He grew up in Moss Side and as a kid would 'jib in' underneath peoples legs to get in the ground. A regular at the old Kippax. Said the greatest moment was the roar when Colin Bell returned from injury.

The first City match I wasn't by his side watching. Fucking hurts.

Hope City win for him. Though it would be typical if they didn't. Xx
Sorry for your loss mate. Your Dad will be sat next to mine now enjoying the game.

Pick any eleven from 18/20 players and we should get the job done

Steffen
Walker , Dias , Laporte , Zinchenko
Bernardo , Dinho , KDB
Sterling , Aguero , Jesus

penty of ammunition on the bench if it is unlikely going tits up.

They're fucking filthy. Holgate is a nasty player and they've a few more who like to leave a bit on you.

I reckon they'll sit in and launch from deep up to DCL and hope to get breaks off him, they haven't got tremendous pace around him from what I can see but he is capable of causing problems if isolated on either full back. Maybe a Dias or Laporte man marking job on him

Sorry for your loss mate. Stay strong.

My old fella passed the early morning of an evening rag home game in November 2010.

My mother mad me go 'as it was what he'd have wanted'.

Although you can't be there tonight, give ta big shout to the TV for him.

I think this is the real test, we may have bounced back from defeat with wins against Soton and Fulham but if wasn't all plain sailing and we are not in the same form as the last visit to the Ark.

Pickford being injured is also a big blow to us as he is useless low to his right from Mahrez and Bernardo range.

Correct. Ancelotti admitted after the last game their plan was to try and rough us up and we stood up to them, and said City don't get enough credit for that side of our game.

If we can avoid hitting our chances STRAIGHT at the keeper, we should score today. Typically he will be like a cat today and be all over the goal.
We MUST put our chances away, no FCUKING about dribbling to get it in the 6 yard box.
Shoot on sight and mix it up.
Come on CITY.
