I reckon this could be our toughest game of the season so far, especially since it looks like Gundog could be out injured, I'm not that worried though with the way we are playing.
why would it be the most difficult ??? More difficult than Liverpool one where we have never won in ages or the Chelsea one when we were down to barebones with so many players out or the Spurs one who have recently beaten us and been very lucky against us?

stats don’t say that. we have won five in a row including three away. see the first post of the thread. the form doesnt say that. we are on a sixteen win run. so why would this be most difficult game? why??!

We've said that against Liverpool away, spurs home even Burnley away, you've got to remember it will definitely be their hardest game

I said toughest game, and the why is that neverton are a tough team to beat, and they are playing well at the moment, I still think we will beat them, but in my opinion they will be harder to beat than the spuds today.

I disagree mate ... they have quite a few injuries and players out or just coming back from injuries and their three games this week are over 7 days vs our 9 day span ... plus they will have an eye on their derby a couple of days later where they can finally beat Liverpool this year and not just that but also go ahead of them in the table by doing so ... I fully expect them to rest a few key players against us and we’re a handful for even the first choice XI of most teams ...

Toughest game for us next would be the West Ham at home if we have gone and won our next three as well as then that’ll be the team on paper weaker than who we’d have just played, the early kick off time and just after Europe away ... that’s the kind of games where we are susceptible to complacency and that would be the tough part - dealing with ourselves, not an opposition...

On Wednesday, I expect a fully professional approach and a straight forward game against an opponent who will have half their players missing or rested and other half with their minds on their next game ...

Win no.17 incoming!
