If Gundo is out the big issue will be how to replace him. Luckily we have quite a few options.

Fernandinho may be thought of as a defensive midfielder but he has the skillset to do a job further forward - he has sacrificed this to support players like Toure, Dave, KdB etc. Least likely option.

Foden as an 8 - could do a job there but would need to be disciplined and maybe curb his instinct to beat players at all times - would be exciting to see but we would miss him from the front 3.

Cancelo as an 8 - this I would like to see - he has the engine and skills and would be a goal threat. Walker comes in to right back.

The other question is what to do with the centre backs. I would stick with Stones and Laporte as they did well against Spurs - maybe bring Dias in against Arsenal.

Everton will really want to play Liverpool in their current form - the game with us may not be their main focus I we could benefit from that.

James will be back today so potentially him I’m not sure what the situation is with Allan and DCL, digne, doucoure I would also imagine. From your perspective I would target the fulham and Liverpool games based on current form etc.

Silky needs a break. He has been amazing for some time now and it must be taking a toll on his body. He ‘limped’ off yesterday according to the media cnuts.
We have plenty of strength in depth & need to make sure we don’t get turned over by the Toffees. We create so many chances, that one or two will go in, I would love to see us hand out a real spanking and see what the media says!
Everton are one of those teams that can catch you out, depending who turns up for the game.
I think they’ll score, but we will score at least one more than they do.

I think Everton are more likely to rest a few tomorrow against Fulham. Hope your correct but it’s rarely an easy game at Goodison.

Personally I don't think he would if everyone was 100% fit. I'm a believer in earning your spot back and Bernardo and Gundogan have been superb.

However, with so many games and niggles (Gundo) I think he'll probably start as soon as feels he's ready.

Our strength in depth they all harp on about, is being sorely tested. Kun KDB Ake & now Gundy. These are important players & include what would normally be considered as the spine of the team. However media love to insist that it shouldn’t affect us.
Yet - rags & dippers use any injury as an excuse. Indeed, rags keep listing Phil Jones as one of their injuries

If our squad’s big enough to cope so is theirs.

Yes he still would. If Aguero/Jesus is not starting, either him or Bernardo will be playing false 9, with the other playing right centre midfield. All depends on who's playing on that day, but either way, KDB will still be key.
