17:30 Kick off (GMT). Live on Sky Sports for those in the UK.

Bit raw at the moment so I won't say too much other than we might only be 3 points clear before we kick off. We need to win.

Absentee's v Spurs
Gabriel Jesus
Cole Palmer

Must win, this. At least they have a week to rest.
Some believe we are better playing every three days tonites shitshow tossed that idea out the window. Big game this all their points have come at home and anything less than a ruthless performance will spell more droped points. I will wait for a clearer head to arrive because now I can see only a draw at best.

TBF Everton are shite, as proved today.
Beat a poor Leeds team last week with the bounce of a new manager.
We need to go back to starting games right. Too many poor starts to games since Xmas.
Mahrez must start, Bernardo needs to go back to the central position he has been so good in and somehow we need to shake up our attack.

No fucking about.

Ederson

Walker
Dias
Stones
Cancelo

Rodri
Bernardo
De Bruyne

Mahrez
Sterling
Jesus (If fit)

If Jesus isn't fit I hope Delap starts. Foden needs to be left out of this one, His performances are way off in recent weeks.

If we defend against decent strikers like the Spuds game we will be punished , Kane & Song are excellent and Richarlson and Calvert lewin can cause us problems given the chance.
The defence need to get back to basics for next week and i am sure Pep will be working hard on the defensive side of our game from tomorrow , every confidence today was a blip and normal service will be resumed.

Dias and Laporte so poor against Spurs that I'd be tempted to bench them both and play Stones and Ake. Both have played well when given the opportunity this season, and I think have earned a chance to try to stake a claim on the starting spots. The competition keeps the players honest.

Everton have some good players and I don't doubt they'll carry a threat but their form this season is terrible, they're in a relegation scrap and if we want to win the league we should be expecting nothing less than a win.
