Everton had a couple of chances volleys from outside the area that if on target would have made a game of it along with Mina's header and that was it from Everton , we struggled to create but always thought we had the killer instinct.
Our defence deserves the plaudits it is recieving but the whole team is defending from the front , the intensity of the team is something else and no one can live with us , this is the best Pep team i have seen its on a level with his great Barca sides , there isnt a weakness and there are 18 players who come in , do the job and the standards rarely drop.

The MOTM was Raz, by removing himself from the game he opened up different chances and possibilities for us and we duly used it. Gundo and Zinchensko together with Americ on the left had some great exchanges and he was destroying every single of them. Actually Gundo suffered as well, because he started holding onto the ball and lost quite a few of them. But once Phil moved to the left with Riyad hanging on the right and KdB back in business it was matter of.....6 minutes to make it so easy.
Zinchenko definitely needs to ask for substantial pay rise either with us or somewhere else. he's been playing like a clockwork, is there a defensively more improved player in the league right now? And shout to Gaby, that boy is one mean honey badger, his fighting spirit and preparedness to tussle for very single ball gives us so much advantage positionally. Him and Richarlison upfront for us would be fun to watch, I've never seen two more un-Brazilian Brazilian attackers since watching football, excellent on the ball, but run and wrestle like the third division players.

Mate, sometimes you need to take off your blue tinted specs when talking generally about football. I am sure all other non-City fans talk the same about Jesus ad they are very similar players. Just get him in the City shirt and you would change your opinion. :)

Did the reporter actually watch Laportes run in the build up ffs

KDB surging into the box didn’t happen either, as he was brought down before being in it. Not the best reporting.

A bit harsh I think. You are right about the possible fan reaction, but Ancelotti is not daft and he set his team up with the best chance of ‘nicking’ a result. Only one or two teams in Europe would fancy their chances of going toe to toe with us - and Ancelotti gave Everton the best chance of progressing. Definitely not ‘a joke of a team’.

Oh I reckon our fans woukd have been fuming but take away the emotion during the game and look at it rationally, it was probably the only chance we had to beat you. Opening the game up or flying forward is suicide.

Fair enough mate. I think 80% of the frustration comes from seeing those same tactics week after week. Especially the keeper trying to slow the game down from the first minute. That really grinds my gears. And then hearing how good the opposition were at almost winning. Good luck selling that product.
Anyway, Good luck for the rest of the season. Apart from the obvious.

Agree and you obviously see this most weeks abd its an unfortunate side effect of being so good. Put it this way, I wish teams felt like that about us!! Its a compliment but thats why you are so patient and keep playing with the belief that a goal will come.

As for the almost winning stuff, ignore it. We held out for 80 mins but were not close to winning it. The commentarors chat shite to just say stuff.

It is already annoying that kev and zin look quite similar. Add to that both now roaming all over the pitch and out of their typical positions. And then we have this font that makes the 7 in 17 not that different from 11 from a distance and in motion. Genuinely couldn't work out which was which at times.

Come off it, it’s easy to work out who is who.
One is a ginger minge, and the other is a strawberry blonde!
