I work with loads of scousers mostly red and the shit they get from the rats reminds me of the way the scum ridiculed us for years.
I would love it if they got bought out by someone like Qatar.
Hope they stay up

I reckon a brain damaged duck off his head on crystal meth would be an improvement on Marsch tbf. How he managed to fuck Leeds up so badly, so quickly is beyond me. Went well beyond being a bad fit too, there's no one thing you could pinpoint, as opposed to Potter and the lack of goals.
Most shocking thing is our Director of Football researched him for 2 years and came to the conclusion he was the perfect successor to Bielsa. After sacking Marsch he then almost appointed Alfred Schreuder until the fans protested against. If we stay up and then get new owners the first thing they need to do is sack that guy.

So; Sunderland are filling approximately 79% of their stadium's capacity (48,707). That's undoubtedly very impressive. Sheffield United are filling, again approximately, 89% of their stadium's capacity (32,050). And Norwich are filling 95% of Carrow Rd's capacity (27,359). And yet one of them is recognised as being in an area known as the "hotbed of football". Which of those clubs have the better (better being a subjective term) support, though?

Sunderland population (2022); 344,000
Sheffield population (2022); 741,000
Norwich population (2023); 143,000

Have to be honest, I find that Norwich attendance percentage figure hard to believe, particularly given the size of the city. Perhaps my debatable maths skills (and Google's stadium and population figures are awry? And, of course, not every home supporting attendee at those games come from Sunderland, Sheffield or Norwich.
Could be wrong but percentage wise Norwich have always filled their ground.
It always seems to be full for league games.

As a Leeds fan most of my attention is on Everton and Forest. The others probably have enough to survive but never say never. We’re probably still the favourites as we’ve been left with a lot to do although I think we have a squad capable of getting out of it and Gracia should be a huge improvement on Marsch.
Don't watch Leeds so based purely on league points, marsch got 42 points from his 37 games in charge.
That's not a bad record.

It's more the way he was trending, their performances were getting steadily worse and their results fewer, plus they were losing to the teams around them which is nearly certainly fatal in a relegation scrap.

Actually 33 points from 32 in the league. Had a lucky run at the end of last season beating Norwich, Watford and 2 teams with 10 and 9 men. Started this season well but then won just 2 games in 17 throwing away a lot of our on paper winnable fixtures.

I think in the 00s they moved their target to us and then in recent years forgot we even existed.

Sunderland hold the first (32,157), second (30,847) and third (30,118) best ever average attendances in the third tier in English football history. City have been knocked down to fourth in that list now because of them.

Sunderland’s average attendance in the Championship this season is 38,583.

Sunderland have the second, fourth and fifth best ever third-tier average attendances, bearing in mind Hull City's average of 36,760 in Division Three (North) in 1948/49 and Aston Villa's average of 31,953 in 1971/72.
