So; Sunderland are filling approximately 79% of their stadium's capacity (48,707). That's undoubtedly very impressive. Sheffield United are filling, again approximately, 89% of their stadium's capacity (32,050). And Norwich are filling 95% of Carrow Rd's capacity (27,359). And yet one of them is recognised as being in an area known as the "hotbed of football". Which of those clubs have the better (better being a subjective term) support, though?

Norwich population (2023); 143,000
Have to be honest, I find that Norwich attendance percentage figure hard to believe, particularly given the size of the city. Perhaps my debatable maths skills (and Google's stadium and population figures are awry? And, of course, not every home supporting attendee at those games come from Sunderland, Sheffield or Norwich.
