read De Jong on twitter saying he's back in Amsterdam, have we given the lads a few days off to re-charge the batteries? A good move.

Agreed, a few days off will do them all good.

I think we need De Jong as Everton. they are not playing great, but that means nothing because they will raise their game.

Everton will do what they've done the last couple of times we've played them, or any team we have played.

Lets face it, we are seeing the same plan rolled out all the time, and until we convincingly beat it a few times (aka a media outlet takes notice) we will keep seeing it.

the difference this year though is that Everton are worse than they have been in quite some time.

They are also without Distin, Jagielka, Osman, and maybe Rodwell, I believe. At least according to physio room.

It's an intimidating, dated ground but on the pitch our class should shine through. A convincing 3-1 win for me.

Peter Walton at the controls!

Prediction: 1-1 if we're lucky.

If Walton does what he hasn't done since the takeover and refs a fair game: 2-1 City

never been a better time to go to goodison and get that last season result off our back

with so many players missing everton are weak.

with Kompany back and clichy bound to play

can only see 3 or 4 nil and stretch our lead as manure slip up

Words can't express how happy I will be to see Kompany back on the pitch. Some early tackles and distributions should give our team a massive lift to attack freely.

I think we'll see AJ return to the starting XI to stretch the defence, god knows they'll have everyone behind the ball. A good game from him could really see us get in behind the defence! Clichy with the width up left.

Hart
Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy
AJ, Milner, Barry, Silva
Aguero, Dzeko
