the criticism of some of our players is ridiculous, you'd think we was still watching Kernaghan, Pollock, Brannan and Bradbury! I saw a bloke walk out at H/T at WBrom stating "I'm not watching this shit" there was a tinge of irony as he had a sky blue santa outfit on. We're top of the league and favourites to win it, FA Cup holders, scoring loads of goals and lost once in the league all season, s'pose you can't please all the people all of the time, KNOBHEADS!!!

I was 10 in 1975 and though I went with my Dad and remember some games and the atmosphere from anbout 73 onwards I cannot remember criticism of any players other than Marsh and Corrigan.
Bell can't of played well every week did he get criticised in pubs, a the ground etc?
