Evidence for religion

You’re quoting, what I will call, shit, from one book written by a goat herder who lived a strange life in the middle of a desert, making stuff up as he went along, hundreds and hundreds of years ago in a thread about “evidence”. That’s even if that bloke even did exist since his (like most, if not all, Tanakhal/Biblical/Qu’ranical people) historicity has been questioned.

Give us some historical evidence that any of the, at best, tall stories written in the Tanakh, the Bible or Qu’ran ever happened from outside those three fantasy books.
Hey, hey! Just because the original Bible went through three re-writes, such as Jesus fighting a dragon and having the ability to fly, just to make it more believable to the masses...

...what was my point again?

There is no god, Jesus, Mary, or Joseph when you die you live on but only in the memories of those that love you. Enjoy life to the full as it's the only one you get

Can you imagine a time - and you don't have to agree with this - that there was a kind of religion that would help the likes of 'uneducated peasants' open to a presence of joy, here and now? Might this have been a threat to those that gained 'power' from teaching that 'you have to listen to us then, when you die, you will come to know joy?' What might then have happened? How might those who felt that their 'power' was threatened, have reacted?

who exactly would monopolize this religion you talk about or are you just theorizing

No-one...and that's kind of the point? You are free to choose, this way...as am I, or not. Yet might it bring an end to attempts of religious/scientific/economic (etc)
institutions to monopolise power? Would that be such a bad thing for anyone? Well, apart from those that believe that being part of these institutions is a way of having 'power' over those outside those institutions? Yet even they might come to discover that this is not such a bad thing? Might take a few though, lol

If anyone is thinking of a career change then the ministry is a nice little number to get into. Money is banging with loads of overtime and donations and you get a massive house called a vicarage with big walled gardens and everyone respects you and talks to you in a softly spoken reverent voice ... Hello Father Bob how are you doing today lad and if I may say so that was an excellent sermon .. And then after you fook off all your Sunday parishioners you can go back to the vestry and watch the rest of the footie on the big screen TV with not a care in the world .. Its not exactly graft is it and when I was an alter boy our priest did pretty much zilch except chat shit in Latin and bang out a few funerals.. I wish I had have been a minister and the nearest I ever got was having a wannabee priest as a mate who was a fellow pub goer but sadly Sweary Simon cussed a lot and in his pissed up minds eye he got the calling from the good Lord so the pub had to rename him Father Fuck. It wouldn't have worked out as he was a brexiteer at heart and also bit of a Trump supporter.

I hear you’re a racist then Ted?

Anyone here ever considered that there is a religious practice of getting utterly shit-faced on, eg, beer so as to open to the Divine? No? But surely you know EVERYTHING about religion, so this couldn't possibly be true. And you are so aware of ALL religions and how they work, that I should bow down before your feet in humility -just because you don't like the word 'religion? Maybe not...

Yep -though this might might bring a question of whether Life itself is essentially intelligent? If it is, then perhaps the need to fully understand it can fall away and, instead, it becomes choice of how open or closed to it one chooses to be. If it isn't...? Edit : ps might the phrase 'a peace that passeth understanding' actually be in agreement with you premise? ie there is something beyond what we can comprehend? But perhaps not beyond our potential for awareness?
Any chance you could repost that in english?

Still here? How can one prove that inner joy exists...to someone that insists that they need diagrams and graphs and figures and 'scientific proof' before they will even entertain the notion that joy is actually the very root of one's real existence?
