I'm very limited at working with Excel, but by looking at other spread-sheets and working out the formulae's used, I normally get by. I'm stuck on Conditional Formatting though. I want a certain cell to turn red (I know) when cell C15 is above 40 and cell G15 is below 50 but only at the same time. The formulae I'm using is =IF(AND($C$15>40,$G$15<50) but it's not working. Don't waste your time trying to explain to me why it doesn't work as I probably won't understand a word, but if you can help just give me the correct answer. Thanks

you shouldn't be using the IF function.
Use this instead =AND($C$15>40,$G$15<50)
