when using the find and replace box each time i use it it is moves from right to left a little bit each time until it reaches the top left corner, so ultimately obscuring the majority of data

how do i set it so the box stays in the same place somewhere on the right hand side of the screen away from the majority of visible data

its become quite annoying

Good morning blues. Can any of you help with this query for my brother

His own company database (I think it was written in Access/VB has
a data export facilty (to a csv file)

When exported it turns his customer fy order
ref into dates?

e.g

03-3115 into Mar-15 double click on it to get 01/03/3115

It converts over 550 rows that start 01- thru 09 to start Jan-xx thru Sep-xx

Thanks for any assistance

It's been a while since I've used Access but don't you just format the field as a number perhaps?

It will have to be formatted as text, rather than number or value, or it will remove the first 0, don't know if you have to set that in Access or the Excel sheet it exports into.
