Am I the only one on here that is really excited about what's going on at our club?
These are absolutely the most exciting times I can remember as a blue, yet every time I log on, the boards seem swamped with unhappy blues.
I've waited the best part of 30 years to have a club that can be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Kaka, Villa etc. They might not happen this month, but eventually we'll get there.
Unlike some, the window isn't infuriating me. I love seeing us linked with these players, I love the gossip, I love the fact we now have a football club that everyone in the world is talking about.
But anyone reading most of the stuff on here would be slashing their wrists after 5 minutes. I swear there is more whinging going on than when we were in Div2!!
You ask any Chelsea fan, the anticipation of what's coming is the most exciting time. I'm just worried a few blues may look back in a few years and think, shit, I should have enjoyed that time more than I did, instead of stressing.
We deserve to reach the promised land and we will, just a little faith and a little patience and confidence. The feelgood factor is infectious, just as doom mongering is.
The transfers will take care of themselves, we can't control it - just leave it to the people who can. And so what if we have no-one else in, in time for Portsmouth.
As fans, I think we only have 1 job. To support the team. We have always set the mood for performances at this club. Our total support and backing for whatever team plays at the weekend is worth more to that team than any new signing. Let's do our job.
