An FA spokesman said today,

"we would like to re-affirm our opposition to video technology being introduced into the acting game, we are all human, and an honest mistake was made, these things happen. However, we believe that these things even themselves out , over the course of an actor's career. Frankly, although the decision was wrong, we feel that there is no need for a video panel to review the decision, and the Film Academy should have blundered on, as we would have done, DONE NOTHING, and allowed La La Land to keep the Oscar !

I should imagine that the FArce would try to pin the blame on Belfast riveters rather than the iceberg. The latter would get a clean bill of health and possibly receive support from the FA were they to lobby The Honours Committee about the possibility of 'Sir Iceberg!

25 years of premier league football that's a lot of catching up to level it out

united season so far must have been a bag full of red cards not seen and not given lost count of offside goals and pen and free kicks that was diving and cheating. but when you score in a big game and final and its clearly onside the ref comes up with (we are all human and an honest mistake) hahahahahaha

and skysports and the media will cover it up with not going on about it but mark my words if city had won the league cup when clearly southampton scored you think the media would be talking about glory glory history best striker in the league and how good city was yesterday

Im convinced Giggs winning SPOTY was a similar kind of mix up.
