My wife recently mentioned she wanted to see the lion king, being the good husband I am I tried to get tickets for Manchester and found it was sold out. So I thought I'll have a look on eBay etc to see if any are going to find that there being sold at more than double the price( bunch of wankers shouldn't be taking advantage of normal working class people) the only other option is going to London which would cost a good few hundred for the all round trip, rant over!

I thought selling tickets above face value was illegal. Wonder where I got that idea? Do ViaNoGo sell over the odds?

Dave you have it slightly wrong. After Hillsborough the government made selling football tickets outside grounds etc illegal, all other forms of ticket touting is still within the law.

It is crazy that gangsters, criminals etc sort of ways to scalp hundreds of tickets to then re flog and no one seems bothered (except for the ordinary Joe who has to pay a fortune)

Quite how ViaNoGo are allowed to do it I don't know.

don't leave buying tickets until ages after they went on sale then.

I'm not a mind reader, my wife saw an advert and said she would like to go so I looked and it was already sold out.

This is my point exactly these tickets have been bought to sell for a profit, they are £86 above face value.

Did she not realise that there was a likelihood the show would be sold out at this stage?

She wasn't asking for tickets she was simply saying she would love to see it and me being the good husband was trying to get tickets.
