F1 2025 Season

Mclaren is an organic team and has been in F1 from the 60s. The team has brought us racing greats like Hunt, Senna, Hamilton, Fittipalidi and Hakkinen. Hopefully we can add Lando to that list.

I Just want it to be a fair race. And if McLaren fuck it up they deserve to and Max will deserves all the credit for taking advantage.

After what happened in 2021 no wonder some people are suspicious of a freak result as RB have a win at all costs mentality.

McLaren have had many great drivers it’s unbelievable - Button, Coulthard, Prost, Alonso and that’s just some of those in my time watching.
 
Looking forward to it and good the title chasers are all at the front. It would be nice to avoid any controversy and hopefully no mechanical issues that ruin a proper race between them.

Will be interesting to see what Max does, as he can drive off and win but Lando can then cruise round comfortably and win the title. Or, as Russell said, does Max try and hold the McLaren's in the pack in the hope that someone gets past him, but would need two others to do that against a car which is the pick of the field.

Unless Lando has an incident, I can't see him not ending up with the title which McLaren deserve for the car they've created, even if they've made some odd tactical decisions and by avoiding choosing one of their drivers as #1 means there's still an element of risk to the race.

I've not been a Max fan as a person, as much as you can tell from the bit of the person you get to see. He's like a Craig Bellamy - difficult to like if he's not on your side. But considering how uncompetitive the RB has been at times this season, the issues that came from Horner and the total lack of a teammate, he's shown he's still the best of the current generation.

Yeah you’ve not read it properly have you. The key part “telling one of our drivers, right now, when they’re one point apart.”

In the real world, Oscar has no way of winning the championship if Norris is within 5 cars of him (even if we wins and even further back if he’s second).
 
After recent crashes, disqualifications, terrible team tactics, and completely fucking up when it was obvious to box, I can almost guarantee that McLaren will lose the drivers championship due to some sort of team mistake.

Only way to win this is for McLaren to favour Norris and use Piastri as a buffer. Let them race, they’ll fuck up.
 
Norris is obviously in pole position today; simply finish in the top 3,and the trinket is his. But would anyone be THAT surprised if Verstappen actually pulled it off? He realistically has to win, with Lando finishing 4th or worse. He may be (is?) a prize tw@, but he's a phenomenal driver. Over 100 points behind halfway through the season, and he's now in with a (outside) chance of the title. Could any of the rest of the grid do that?
