Long way to go and a lot of points to be won and lost over 5 races.

It isn't over by a long chalk.

Exciting race. Happy ending as far as I am concerned.

And everybody watching F1 over the past few years has to be happy with the competition for Mercedes and Hamilton.

Both Verstappen and Hamilton are head and shoulders above the rest. Let’s hope they keep up the fight till the last race. And let’s not hope a DNF has to decide the final outcome.

It's a shame Ferrari aren't ultra fast because I do think Leclerc could be in the same tier of driver as the top 2 (if he developed consistency).

Ricciardo finally looks settled.

They could have easily pitted earlier. Pretty clear track position was going to win out.

They needed to have a decent difference in pace by the time Lewis caught Verstappen. If they had pitted earlier the difference wouldn't have been as great and passing would've been even more difficult than it was.

I don't think there was much more Mercedes could have done today. I think it was impressive Hamilton finished as close to Verstappen as he did.

If Verstappen had had the pace with no tyre disadvantage he would've done it eventually at some stage across 56 laps.

All the talk before the race was how powerful the undercut was. Everybody knew it apart from Mercedes.
Hamilton had the pace advantage at the end and still couldn't pass Max due to the dirty air. Red Bull are miles ahead on strategy.

Ha what else could they have done? Merc and Hamilton did a great job putting that much pressure on Red Bull with a slower car.

Needed Bottas to be half decent and be up there to cause a bit of havoc! If bottas was in top four and when verstappen pitted Bottas could of slowed him down a bit!
