I agree that he should have. He wouldn't have been able to do anything though - there wasn't anything he could have done, and Hamilton's engine was still going with wheels spinning.

I was even more surprised that no medical car arrived and Hamilton ordered into it.

My favourite ever F1 car is the McLaren MP4/4 1988. Senna was incredible in that car
