I dont understand why the race didnt restart with all the cars in the position they had when the safety car came out. How can you change the track position ?

Wouldn't be hard these days to set them off with the same gaps too. Seems harsh if your say 10 seconds ahead of someone the race restarts with them right on your rear bumper.
