FA Cup 4th Round Replays 7/8 Feb

Well done Fleetwood & Grimsby.

With all the charges stuff going on I'd totally forgotten there were FA Cup games yesterday.

You never want to lose a game as a fan but for me last night was our least important going forward and I think that was reflected in Darren Moore's team selection with 10 changes from the Plymouth game including 2 debuts.

However you carve it up us or Fleetwood weren't/aren't getting past Burnley at Turf Moor.
Fleetwood have made some good signings recently in Stockley & Marriott so I think next season especially they could be a top 10 team in this division.

Regarding Wrexham similar to Salford I'm not sure it's the "fairytale story" that gets peddled out by the media, they have signed good EFL players like Tozer, Tunnicliffe, Mullin etc to get them promoted out of the National League, fair play to them if it works.

Mullin scored 32 goals for Cambridge United in 2020-21 as they won promotion from League 2, and decided to drop down to the Conference rather than play in League 1.

I would expect them to be really strong in League 2 next season if they win promotion, but they will have FFP to contend with that they currently don't.

I suppose if you can get Tik-Tok & Expedia involved they really could take off with sponsorship deals that other clubs could only dream of.

I think for Mullin the decision to move from League 1 to Wrexham was more to do with being closer to his family of Scousers rather than being on his own away from them in Cambridge.

Yeah I get that, and Wrexham are a bigger club that Cambridge too.

Unlike when Rooney moved from Aberdeen to Salford as they offered a better salary

How on Earth did we sign Patrick Roberts? He’s bobbins!

Did i hear that right...That Sunderland sub who just come on...15 years old????

Yes. Championship rules allow for schoolboy terms players to be under 16.

Mason Bennett (one of the idiots involved in the crash that Richard Keogh got injured and then sacked for) made his debut at 15 for Derby.
