FA Cup 5th round draw - Huddersfield Town (Away)

That argument died a few years ago. How many away games do you think someone without 15,000 points, for arguments sake, can buy tickets for in a season?

I buy as many as I can, which is usually about six or seven a season, and I'm falling further and further behind all the time.

It is impossible for someone to catch those who have first dibs on away tickets now, no matter how willing they are to travel.

It's got nothing to do with picking and choosing. It's about availability, which is getting more and more difficult every season.

You just can't build your points up enough by going to every away game you can buy tickets for.

I've got 13600 points and this season i've been to Stoke, Swansea, United(league cup), Palace twice, West Ham, Celtic, Liverpool, Leicester, Everton and just got my ticket for Sunderland. This game and the Swamp are the only 2 domestic games i've not qualified for so you can still build up your points. I agree i'll never catch those at the top but they've put the time and effort in over the years and deserve to have first dibs. I think the major problem is the more corporate people and partners we have the more tickets are taken out of the system.

Too many tickets for supporters clubs & corporate. I've got 13,940 points & couldn't get a ticket but my friend has got 3,000 points & got a ticket through the supporters club he is a member of.
If this is correct then the branch should be named and shamed. Maybe for the branches allocation those people who qualify should be made to pick them up at the destination similar to CL games and then we will know if the system is being abused. My guess however is a lot of these tickets have gone to corporates given that the tie isn't that far away. I have asked supporter services why they don't release the numbers of tickets that are allocated to the various sponsors, players etc and the response I got was along the lines that as it differs for every game it would be impossible to say. Er no it wouldn't was my response...

Their first 11 are a very decent, hard working team, fit as fiddles & play a high intense press.

They've beaten Newcastle,Leeds & Brighton amongst others this season. It's a small pitch & the whole town is really up for it. They hate everything to do with Manchester & harbour a few closet rags.

We need to be on our mettle, get in,get it won with no dramas, get out.

I broadly agree mate, with the exception of this... "They hate everything to do with Manchester & harbour a few closet rags." Every town / city in the country has its share of 'rags' fans (where did that name come from btw? :-) ) I despise those buggers with a passion myself!

But... to say that folk from Hudders and its environs hate everything to do with Manchester is way wide of the mark. Liverpool maybe and definitely Leeds but Manchester, noooo!!! I live 6 miles south of Hudders (Last of the Summer Wine village) and Manchester is my nearest city (only 23 miles). Love the place and spend loads of time there, cinema, theatre, restaurants ... have family there etc. but cannot say I have ever encountered the hate for Manchester of which you speak.

I am clued up enough to keep my mouth shut

You will be OK as long as you conduct yourself with dignity - even wearing colours etc. But if anyone goes in the home stands and starts giving it large, they will be ejected - no question.
