West Ham had possession before the ball hit the ref and after so have no idea why the ref blew. Making it up as they go along, or cheating in plain sight as I prefer to call it

Think they changed it, compulsory drop ball if it hits the ref, regardless. Most of the time the team who had possession nearly always gets the ball back.

They’re not seeing too much of the ball, but I do like the fact that Doyle is always eager to get on it and looks to get it quickly through the lines. He’s more confident in his ability to risk a through pass and that’s a good sign.
