5-0 tonight
0-2 Sunday
6-0 last week

yeah right keano you beano..

Come on put it into context !!! He said ref winning 4 trophies he couldn`t see us doing it in the CL,but didn`t rule out the other three.Have to agree with him there.

I believe the biggest gun we have in our armoury is the away win at Bayern..

had to laugh when townsend (i think) says Dzekos brother came on in the second half...

unreal finishes by the big lad...unreal efforts in the first....

99 problems but a goal aint one....come on City ;0)

Is this really happening??
Fuck the quadruple, I want the league cup and that will do nicely.

Anyone know what the record is for English team in all comps?

First half took a while to get going, but the second half we just kicked on, fair play to Blackburn they put in a effort, but we took our chances well good to see Negredo and Dzeko amongst the goals, but brilliant too see Aguero back and getting a goal within a minute of coming on, also good to see Micah on the pitch and Kolarov played well when he came on, but it great to see young Huws get some game time..........well done guys..........

Me too. Must admit I did pause for a while and think...I wonder if...?

Pants = 7/10: early kicking was a bit odd but generally fine, made a couple of decent saves actually. couple of good high takes.
Clichy = 7/10: Poor 1st half but settled well in the 2nd and played some reasonable link up play.
Nastasic = 7/10: Looked a little rusty at times but showed a moment here and there that he does have quality. clean sheet.
Lescott = 7/10: Poor distribution but his positioning was pretty good and ok in the air. clean sheet.
Richards = 6/10: Seems to be going backwards as a player. Very average game but offered little both attacking and defending.
Milner = 7.5/10: Made up for a poor first half by playing very solidly in the 2nd.
Garcia = 6.5/10: Didnt do much wrong but his laid back approach only made him looked relaxed and in control when the rest of the team had stepped it up, he looked quite poor 1st half
Navas = 9/10: Great game, a constant threat and narrowly beaten to MOTM
Fernandinho = 7/10: stand out player of the 1st half
Dzeko = 8.5-10: Wayward 1st half, poor shooting and general possession. Missing until 55mins he suddenly put in a tremendous shift and played very well.
Negredo = 9/10: Quiet at first but his few first half touches were all very considered and well executed. Great until he came off - MOTM

Kolarov = 8/10: Provided a real threat where Milner was struggling to. Some great distribution with some wayward shooting. Worked hard as well.
Aguero = 7.5/10: Quietish aside from the goal, very useful 25 minute work out
Huws = 7/10: didnt do an awful lot but played ok against a beaten team

Very good all round aside from a drab opening 40 mins. Squad used to perfection Mr Pellegrini.

I think it took the first half for the team of unfamiliars to click. Then... POW!
Now consider next season when the squad players have had the rest of this year and the summer to get more accustomed to each other and the system. Makes me giddy!

Daily Telegraph football correspondent Henry Winter on Twitter: #mcfc doing kids for a quid for the Watford game, first time such a price this season

If they took it a little easier, kept the games closer and injected a little tension into their Cup ties then City might be able to pack in a few more.

Attendance at tonight's game was a suspiciously healthy 35,000 apparently.

Cant resist having a dig.

This weekend I would like City to rip cardiff a new arse ole'

Did you see what I did??
got it Sam in the words of a certain Bolton comedian "you don't waste your evenings do you"

Blackburn did well and kept solid for 44 minutes but it was obvious we had the talent to unlock them. Lots of positives tonight Negredo looks like a bargain Kolarov continues to look like a player reborn Dzeko found his shooting boots Aguero didnt look like a player thats missed 2 months and Huws got a debut

We only sing when its 4 -0! Comfy in the end, blackburn fans were very hypocritical aswell singing about empty seats

Well, I'll admit I've only started following City this season. I'm chilean and a big fan of Pellegrini so decided in August that I wanted to see as much as possible of his team. I think I've watched around 80% of the matches this season including all competitions. So far I haven't been dissapointed. I think the team is playing great, many players are at top form and because of having a decent squad some big injuries haven't been such a big deal (Kompany, Aguero, Silva, lets hope that without Nasri the next 8 weeks the team does OK).

Negredo, Fernandinho and Navas have been incredible so hats off to the spaniards and Pellegrini who chose to hire them. I don't know how City managed last year without them! Waiting for Jovetic still, but he's a good player, I think when he recovers he will be important for the team.

Today was pure quality. Even though Blackburn is in the championship, Pellegrini learnt his lesson from Real Madrid (he lost to Alcorcon in Copa del Rey, third division because he played too many subs at the away game and it was a big loss for media/fans) and I don't think he's going to make that mistake again.

Because the team is playing so well, winning so many matches, scoring this many goals, I understand there is alot of expectations. Ofcourse we all want the treble, but it's important to take things calmly and understand that being this Pellegrini's first season in England, in a team that doesn't have much history in UCL it's very unlikely for City to win it. I think City has to give Barcelona a run for their money and if City gets to QF it would be HUGE. The minimum asked was to get through the group stage and Pellegrini already covered that.

Locally, I think City will definitely win some silverware. Premierleague will depend on how the team responds in the tough away matches (Liverpool, Arsenal, ManU, Tottenham) and Chelsea at the Etihad. The stupid matches that were lost in the early part of the season were away (Aston Villa, Cardiff, Southampton) and at home I think they don't stand a chance.

Loved the team, the fans, the songs, the ambience at the Etihad as seen on the telly and the forum is fun too BTW :)

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to give my 2 cents worth.
