The reason it has something to do with it is this, on one hand your openly admiting that the club dont know yet on the other your guessing when it will sell out. Whats the point of randomly guessing when you admit the club dont know and obviously you dont?

FFS mate, he's having his own estimate like many on here do, but he's saying that the club themselves would be daft to do that for the reasons he's stated.

Its anoying for people who are worried about not getting tickets yet having to put up with people randomly guessing. Earlier in this thread someone actually made a guess then told people to chill out and not worry. If you can tell me how thats helpful at all id be intrested to hear. Im not singling him out i think all guessing is pointless and unhelpful.

Are you on some personal vendetta? I'm not Manchester City, I don't have any responsibility to not piss you off. I told people to have faith, I might be wrong, but like it fucking matters if I'm wrong, what are you gonna do? Ring me up and have a go because I suggest MY personal opinion on a football forum?

Manchester City have responsibilities, they can't go predicting because if they did they'd go mental. My guess is a guess, that's exactly what it is, A GUESS. But I can make that guess cus' if I'm wrong it means fuck all. City's would also be a GUESS. (Take a look at reason 1) but if they got it wrong.. (well take a look at reason 2).

Your not pissing me off as i have enough points to guarantee a ticket, but i feel for those blues who dont and have to put up with pointless guessing. This isnt something aginst you just guessing in general.

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

FWIW my reading of the sales criteria is that everyone with 3250pts upwards will get a ticket if they want one. When they get to the final day the club will assess how many tickets are left and set the points total accordingly, maybe only going down in 100pt steps rather than 250.

No one knows when it will sell out not even the club.

Hope that helps.

The thing is, it's just looking at it from a different POV. United went a lot lower than people thought it would and I have a sneaky feeling this will too, so instead of people sound depressed and thinking they have no hope in hell, they could just wait and see, you never know what might happen.

Have a word with a mod and ask if people can be stopped offering their opinions?

I think people do realise that people are guessing y' know, and take them with a pinch of salt.

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

Squeaky bum time for me on 3590, i might have to fight a few in the cup direct scheme in the queue to get my ticket, i'm going down armed and ready

I hope your right, its annoying to think how many might miss out because of the way the F.A. do things.

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

i've just stepped out of my time machine.

sorry lads, it sold out at 10:27am on wednesday 4th may. people had been queueing since 9pm the previous evening. one disgruntled blue had 3490 points, just 10 shy of being able to get one on the tuesday.

may the 4th be with you.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, my opinion is its not very helpful. Obviously people should take it with a pinch of salt.

Can't get to any of the away games either. Thanks 'football family'.

But conveniently you can get to Wembley?

Well, yes, I'm not working then.

Why don't you buy a ticket for Blackburn or Everton to get the points then sell it to me for a tenner. Everyone's a winner!

The FA is an utter disgrace. They built a 90,000 seater stadium yet the biggest match of the domestic season has only 50,000 fans in. That's 45% of the stadium not officially affiliated with either club. If you look at the allocations for the semi final, that had 26,000 tickets going elsewhere which is more than enough is it not? And there were empty seats in the 2nd tier. I bet the suits will take up their tickets for this one, but it's a sad sign of what the FA's priorities are with regard to Wembley. Then you look on the internet and see touting sites with tickets going for £500+. Supply and demand; the FA siphoning so many of the seats allows this to happen. They've effectively legalised touting and it's an absolute joke.

40,000 tickets where most of them will be sold for twice the price to touts who will in turn sell them for 5 times the price to proper fans. Cunts. Im so glad these football experts are in charge of the game.

Does anyone know where these 6000 seats are coming from? down the middle?

It should go on points though, i'll miss out either way but I don't think its fair that a junior should get a ticket because their parent/guardian is. But I bet the Police are fans of it, if people are with their families then they are less likely to kick off.

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

I think it's a disgrace that youngsters can get a ticket just because of a seasoncard just because their parents go a lot.

They should be bottom of the queue, they haven't earnt any right to go to this game.

Feel sorry for loyal fans who miss out cos a kid gets to go.

Re: FA CUP FINAL TICKET CRTERIA

city have done well here and have obviously thought it through, cant fault the criteria. glad the cup scheme tiks have been pushed down to 3500 point level as well. would have been a travesty if noobs could apply first day. doubt there will be many tiks left at this point any way.

I agree to an extent but :

My son has 3800 loyalty points and I have 4800. He's not got the same as me because I was a responsible parent and didn't take to some evening home and away matches.

He's 12 and was carried in and sat on my lap away on a midwinters Saturday at Middlesboro at the age of 4. I'd love you to tell him he can't go with his Dad to an FA Cup Final!
I dare you!!

However I did say I agreed to an extent. There perhaps should be a points criteria for children say above 2000? I honestly don't think a child below 4 will ever remember the match however I appreciate some Dads wouldn't be able to attend without their son/daughter.

They'll have their time.

why dont you just wait and apply for two tiks at the 3800 level?

Mate I'm fine with the criteria I was just making a point about whether some kids should or shouldn't go.

We're alright Jack - Members of a Supporters Club, Members of the CDS and have enough points!

Was that 3 or just the 2 boos?!
