FA cup final ticket news?

Common sense should prevail and Wigan should be given 25,000 and City 40,000 which would still mean 20,000+ for all the hangars on.
That'd open a nasty can of worms. Playing devil's advocate for a while here. Say we played the vermin in the final; they must average, after correcting their doctored figures, around 55-60k at each home game. Therefore, would you be happy to see them get 33% more tickets than us for said final? And this is from someone who would possibly benefit if our allocation was upped and Wigan's dropped, before you have a go.

^^^^^^ This.

Wigan sold 22,000 for the semi. They'll easily sell 25,000 for the final. If we start agitating for a change that suits us this time, we're likely to get 'hoist by our own petard' in the future, particularly since in any given year, we're more likely to face Utd in a final than Wigan.

Be careful what you wish for.

This is easily resolved. If your average attendance is greater that the default Wembley allocation of 25k then you get your full allocation of 25k at Wembley.

My point earlier was that the FA will not want huge blocks of empty seats in the Wigan. Increasing our allocation will ensure that the final is sold out and that all Wigan fans who want to go will still be able. I am not advocating that allocations are revised each year but surely it would seem sensible to ensure as many 'fans' of each club get to see the game. Giving both clubs 25,000 each is plain stupid.

Wigan will sell their tickets mate - and we are the ones who should be singing to them "where were you when you were shit"

Wigan play Spurs and Swansea at home before the final. Might be an option for someone to get themselves a buying history before the final.

£25 tickets available online for the Spurs match.

Maybe Wigan's poor turnout will keep the prices down. FA wont want empty seats at one end

As a Blue Member who got in last Monday for Semi tickets and does about 10 games a season, was absolutely delighted to be there yesterday.

The final I realise is obviously a totally different kettle of fish though. What's the standard price for paying for one in Club Wembley then? 200 quid?
