I know a rag who simply laughs when given another pen at old Trafford. Similarly, any pen given to the opposition must be 100% correct or you won’t get it. It’s like scholes can’t tackle laugh. We all know it happens and it’s is openly accepted. “You won’t get that at old Trafford”.

Only when you compete against this shower of shit do you actually see it for what it is…competition distortion. It’s pandemic and not one journalist is interested nor the authorities who govern the game. The influence might not be enough to win them every game but it keeps them in the mix. They totally lost the plot. They threw it away for no reason. I think the red got all the decisions correct too.

Whatever Silva said, the ref could have taken the heat out of the situation by booking him. If he'd carried on, then show him red.

The other two were correct, but the ref was just too quick with that red card. I think he was worried about losing control of the game.

What is the point in the ref going to the monitor these days. He always gives the decision anyway (one notable exception being the Spurs handball against us in the CL). They're under so much pressure that it becomes very difficult for them not to - particularly if you've already had a fellow ref telling you to change your decision. It was far from clear that the ball was going in from Sancho's shot so I don't think the Red for Willian was correct.
