FA Cup Games | Quarter-Finals | 18/19 March '23

What is the point in the ref going to the monitor these days. He always gives the decision anyway (one notable exception being the Spurs handball against us in the CL). They're under so much pressure that it becomes very difficult for them not to - particularly if you've already had a fellow ref telling you to change your decision. It was far from clear that the ball was going in from Sancho's shot so I don't think the Red for Willian was correct.
Happened at Molineux yesterday, ref sent to monitor but stuck with his original decision

What bugs me is if, for example, Fulham had been Sheffield United, Blackburn, Grimsby or Burnley at home against Man Ure, there would be no VAR. How can there be a rule where rules change depending on what ground the match is played on?
Wrong, VAR used at all games from quarters onwards

I've never known another club who get the rub of the green, dubious decisions, play teams who seem to self implode when games before they have not put a foot wrong.

They are the jammiest set of cunts i've ever had the displeasure of seeing.

Yea like the equaliser against us. Clearly bent but nothing is really said about it.

Anothy today couldnt have been red carded after 20 seconds both ref, linesman VAR all turn a blind eye. Commentators just make light of it. Any other team apart from the rags and dippers it would be on a loop on sky

What on earth’s happened to Marco Silva? He’s been sent off again? I don’t remember him being this spicy at Everton, our fans always moaned about how quiet and unpassionate he was. I wonder if Mourinho’s been giving him ideas.

A penalty and two red cards in a couple of minutes in a game you were coasting can do that to you. Especially when the rags got off with some dodgy ones as well.

I was pissed so can’t remember which game it was. But one of the games on Match of the Day last night had the ref going to the screen and sticking with his original decision.

Unless I was even more pissed than I thought and imagined the whole thing.
