FA Cup Semi Final draw - Brighton

Our fan base would have expanded if Season ticket prices were not raised every year .many thousands of fans in the last 10 years have not renewed
if match day tickets were not so expensive less people would not have got in the habit of watching the games in a pub instead of going to the game .Ticket prices are the key to expanding the fan base. The club spend so much energy on the corperate side but just continue to increase ticket prices year on year
I though the churn rate was very low. 1 to 2% max. I've been waiting to buy back a lapsed season card and buy another and so far been unable to do so.

Furthermore we're at capacity for seasoncards, and at capacity for the ground so how do we expand the fan base? We can't at the moment. We are stuck.

I don't think the limited sales for Wembley show that our fan base is smaller than Liverpool and Man Utd but we knew that anyway. It's not surprising given that we have been to the Community Shield and League Cup Final already and the triple whammy is the KO time.

Lower than 1968 when competing clubs got 15% or so of the available tickets?
It wont be lower than the Arsenal v City Community Shield. We got beat 3-0 that day, and it was a totally humiliation. Half empty City end and a team that was even less bothered than the fans.

you mean a pre season friendly? and if you look at the sales its wont be far off that

Looking at the blocks that are left we have probably sold about 27000 seats. But I wished we had sold none and f***** the FA off all semi's should be played at neutral grounds. It's getting expensive to support the Blue's these days.
Not trying to scaremonger but when I bought one earlier it looked like we’d sold half that.

A neutral ground (under the old system) for a match between Brighton and City would logically be somewhere in London (Emirates?). The match between Watford and Wolves would probably have been at Villa Park.

There really are a shed load of seats available with less than a week to go.

What annoys me is that I bought them when they went on sale to citizens and I could only buy one- but I’d have gone and bought my kid and wife one too. I had to get a mate to get me one and booked them next to each other to take the kid.

They should have just allowed up to 4 each for citizens from the get go.

It’s gonna be a bollocks atmosphere if it’s only 1/3 full of blues. Caribou was full but like a library for most of the second half and ET.

The vast majority of games we have empty seats, many of those are season tickets holders who don't go anymore, some of those try to resell the tickets either through the club or various City face book sites, many go unsold because we don't have a big enough fan base wanting them. Big problem is the thousands of fans disillusioned weather they been moved from there seat to make way for hospitality or simply priced out, also the pricing for some games is just barmy. You correct though hardly suprising we not sold out Wembley with the amount of times we have been plus all the games we have played .Respect to the fans that have made most of the games
