Fair enough but the blackout is there to protect lower league clubs. Were there any games kicking off at 3pm in the other 3 divisions that day? I think you'll find that there weren't!

While we're waiting different travel options are closing to us or rising in price. Also the 5.30pm KO is a ball ache even if you don't think it is.

A very small number of older blues who can’t accept that time has moved on are pissed off with it, the vast majority aren’t and look forward to a big day out at Wembley.

You must have a very low bar for being “shit all over” if you think that scheduling a football match in the same place it’s been for 15 years constitutes that.

There’s something special about Wembley, only a handful of moaning minnies would rather be watching cup finals at a soulless bowl on some industrial estate in the midlands.

I fully accept that every semi final will now be played at Wembley. All I ask, as a fan, is to be treated with a little bit of thought and respect. A week on and still no time (or date) how are we or coach companies meant to plan a trip ? What is so hard with them making an official announcement regarding what day the match is ? Why should a fan have to assume he should book Saturday off from work, it's been a week.
Shit all over means just that. There was huge fan support for a stadium in the Midlands but the corrupts bastards lied to us about the towers, the cost, the coach parking, everything. This is the FA that lied to the government about all seater stadiums because a couple of ex members bought out a company that made plastic seats. ( I wonder why they left the FA - cough)
Funnily enough it was Wembley that caused the company to go bust, how ironic.

As I explained in a much earlier post a 1730 kick off is perfect for many blues who can grab a decent lie in and have time to get on the ale in a more leisurely fashion than if it were a traditional 3pm kick off.

I think i might be the only one here thinking that the later they announce it the better.

But then i live in London and only go to 6 games a season. More if i can get to a cup game but midweek is obviously trickier given i finish work around 530.

The way i see it is the later it gets the more chance i'll have of getting a ticket. Very selfish I know but tbh i'm not sorry.

Guy on FB who runs a supporters club says its 5.30 and we have the East end aka shit end.
He's usually reliable and knows as he'd provisionally booked the Green Man for his coach load and the landlord has got back to him to advise

As stated here 72 hours ago - kick-off will be 5.30pm. Probs confirmed sometime today Id expect and yes we do apparently have the East and thus shite side of the ground

Why is the 3pm tv blackout still a thing?? Does it still really help lower league teams? This game should be played at 3pm on the Saturday if can’t be at a different venue to Wembley which I know won’t change.
