Tradition really, had them on the same ground as the final in London in 1871.Why should a semi-final be any different to a quarter-final?
QFs could be neutral up and down the country to mix things up.

You said "there were no league games kicking off at 3pm that day." my reply evidenced that was incorrect!Fair enough but the blackout is there to protect lower league clubs. Were there any games kicking off at 3pm in the other 3 divisions that day? I think you'll find that there weren't!
The post I was replying to stated that there were no league games at 3pm that day, I was merely evidencing that to be incorrect. The blackout isn't to help games like the above.
There were only 3 EFL games 1 before the game and 2 after, most played Friday-Monday.
He also has a special portion of Jerk Chicken waiting for WorsleyNot wanting to shoot the messenger but the landlord of the Green Man knows before the media ? Before City yes I'd agree but.......
And being the perfectly reasonable person that I am, I was more than happy to acknowledge that fact. That doesn't negate the point about the 3pm blackout rule though, or why it exists, and why this time round our semi-final won't be kicking off at 3.30pm on a Saturday! You said "there were no league games kicking off at 3pm that day." my reply evidenced that was incorrect!
In that case being the perfectly reasonable person that I am, I am more than happy to acknowledge the fact that this time round our semi-final will not be played during the black out period ;)And being the perfectly reasonable person that I am, I was more than happy to acknowledge that fact. As an aside, what do you think comes first-this thread reaching 1000 pages or the FA announcing the time? ;)

i think we will sell out. This year the emptyhad is sold out for every game and selling out quickly - prime example being Bayern at home. We have a big following of JCL now - they will be desperate to bag a ticket. I might be wrong, but i think demand will be high. You'll get a ticket regardless because we won't sell out.
