I'm surprised that they managed to get a 4.45pm kick-off through as the 3pm Saturday blackout runs from 2.45pm to 5.15pm. I'm guessing some of the hold up has been to do with getting that OK'd. Despite having to wait for confirmation, it's a sensible move and should give those fans booked on trains enough wiggle room even if it goes to extra time and pens
I can only think the police have had a say and said we want to get them out of here asap on trains so they aren’t our problem.

Last for us is 9 I think there is one at half past back to Sheffield. Works for me either way.

It was never going to be early kick off would lose too many viewers.

Absolute stinger of a train at £130, but it's another trip to Wembley booked.

Not sure what that ticket is but the absolute most it should be is £103.90 for a flexible return.

Oh, just thought. Unless you’re not coming from Manchester?

Leaving Piccadilly 07:30ish. Meeting a mate who lives in London for breakfast and beers. Leaving Euston 20:18, hopefully no extra time… £130.43 for the privilege.

As @Cheadle_hulmeBlue says, should have got the megabus!

It sounds like you must have bought two fixed train singles that have worked out £30 dearer than a flexible return, that you can use on any train at a weekend.
