not to mention £390 for Madrid travel!

Megabus use double decker and specially built 70 seater buses.

Dont think you can compare the cost of sourcing coaches and drivers on Easter Weekend with an established route tbh.

There just isn't 50 coaches sitting around doing nowt on that weekend.

Dippers will be sourcing a load too don't forget.

Motorway is gonna be rammed with Coaches past MK with Rail replacement buses too.
1 accident and it's tits up for those on the roads!

Sorry the point I was making is that it doesn’t cost much more than £40 to drive by car to London and back unless you’re in a ford escort. So putting coaches on doesn’t excuse the fact that it’s still crazy not to have moved the venue as it’s not saving anyone money

the real gesture that club and FA care about fans would be to lay on free travel again at ooh a total cost of about 100k

The problem is that the moaners (who probably were never going to the match anyway) are contributing to the problems of those of us who wish to attend by delaying the scheduling of this match.

I just want a time and a date to enable me to book a hotel and trains.

I had to drive to Southampton last Sunday and it was double that.

Best case scenario:
£1.60 per litre = £7.20 per gallon.
400 miles @ 50mpg = 8 gallons.
£7.20 x 8 = £57.60

Maybe a hybrid or some diesels, possibly. But parking on top of course.
