It used to be that every year there was a number of major shocks on third round day, then it became the norm for all the top clubs to go through as their squads got bigger and the pitches got better, now a number of clubs will play a weakened team to "rest" star players.
So, who will be the shock fallers this weekend?
Liverpoo will be the shock of the round or me though i feel 9/2 for them is a wee bit lean, Pompey at 17/10seems good value, QPR should never be 3/1 at Ewood even though they have had a recent run of poorish results, Ipswich at 12/1 against Chavski? the current chavski really need a very good performance and result to boost confidence but a result for Ipshit might just keep the dog wa*ker in work.
Should be a good weekend's football and I know i have never fallen out of love with third round day.

Leicester to beat City

Bad bad bad feeling about this
If the bescarfed one puts out an XI similar to the Baggies game in the CC, I could easily see us getting beat. Hopefully, we'll have the second (as opposed to the third) choice side out.

this is a potential upset, with the added spice of sven and vassell thrown in,leicesters home form is good and the old if your not up for it comes in to play, but i still think we will win although a few hairy moments but quality will see us through...

Glad somebody else said us aswel !

Was not going to say it but I just know the old city way will kick in and our old manager or old player will do us in some way!
I really thought I was over the "typical city" feeling but I guess it`l never ever leave me now.

I am hoping we have learnt our lesson from the West Brom game and Boro last year. If AJ had not got injured for Boro and Silvinho and Petrov( both outstanding in unfamiliar roles) hadn't been great on the day we could have been heading for a fall.

I quite fancy Dippers against Scum and QPR to win.
