Got married at the end of June and had my reception in the Mancunian Suite at the ground.

Anyway we arrived from Manchester Registry Office around 6pm and were having a few photos outside the main entrance. A car pulls up alongside and 2 G4S security guys get out and tell me they have the FA cup in the boot (I didn't believe them at first, cynical me) and then they ask me if I'd like them to see if they are allowed to bring it upstairs to the suite. They did and after some discussions were given permission to bring it up to the suite.

It was placed on the table (next to the cake, aaahh) and we were all allowed to have photos with it, ribbons and all (weren't allowed to touch it, insured for millions apparantly) but you could see the dent from when Tevez dropped it.

It was a top day all round and a massive money couldn't buy bonus as well. I've not stopped telling the story yet and now I'm even writing it down!!

FA Cup. Insured for millions, but driven around in the boot of a car. You've got to laugh. Next, we'll hear that it was rolled up in a carpet and bound with loads of tape.

And you should have seen the state of the car, mind you what are you expecting? A tank?

I guess you don't want to advertise it....
