FA Cup & Wolves at Swinton

The next meeting of the Swinton Branch is this Wednesday at Clifton Cricket Club on the A666 in Swinton.

We'll be showing the CC game live at Wolves on the big screen. This has got to be better than watching the game in any local pubs or stuck at home and should be a good atmosphere with loads of true Blues there.

To make the night even better we've got the FA Cup joining us. A great opportunity to have your photo taken alongside your mates, families etc with the real thing.

Should be a good night and hope that some of you can join us.

Yes, children of all ages welcome. We pride ourselves on being a family branch. The December meeting is a Christmas Party for the kids.

It is a mid week away match though.This was discussed at length and decided that it gave us an opportunity to watch the game in the company of Blues. We are a supporters club after all and not everyone has SkySports .Swinton is a predominantly a rag area so it can be a pain trying to watch a game with them around.

Quick meeting to get the official stuff over and done with then beer and 7-0 - you read it here first SEVEN - NIL. ;-)

We had James H Reeves booked in but obvioulsy everyone agreed that it'd be better to get him back another time.

As far as kids go - I usually take mine 3,7 and 11 and they're quite happy.

The meeting date and FA Cup were booked well before the CC game was arranged. An oversight on our part not taking a possible CC date into consideration but now we can have a party from 6 till 1 to celebrate yesterdays little knock about.

As a previous poster said Swinton is very much a rag area and difficult to watch the game in a pub without their expert opinions. Many like me don't have sky at home so if you live in this area Clifton Cricket Club is the place to be on Wednesday night.
