A good omen then! When we last won the league, United overshadowed it and won the European Cup; when we won the European Cup Winners Cup, the Leeds-Chelsea FA Cup final replay was shown over us; when we were promoted v Gillingahm, United won the treble in the same month...
But do you see what the important thing in all this is? That we achieved things! Fuck who else gets the press or whatever, the only thing that's important is that we go and win our first trophy for 35 years. I couldn't give a flying fuck about what anyone else does or whether even one other person watches it outside the MCFC support as long as I'm celebrating on that day!
