you`d think city would get this game on city tv showing the highlights, i usually go to these but had other business on last night.
I don't think so having had a quick look at the regulations:SaddleworthBlueRhino said:Really enjoyed the game. Home and away semi finals here I come. Do they have to be played at the main stadium?
13 (b) Ground Facilities
(i) Clubs outside of The Premier League and Football League must have a ground which
conforms to a category ‘H’ Grade of The FA National Ground Grading (appropriate to
entry to Step 6 of The FA National League System) or higher as at 31 March of the
preceding season as contained in Appendix 1.
(ii) A Club must have regular use of an enclosed ground where all home First Team
League matches are played, where a charge for admission and the attendance must
be taken in all matches in the Competition.
(iii) Goal nets must be used in all matches.
(iv) Glasses, Glass bottles or cans containing alcohol are not permitted outside of the
Clubhouse and must not be brought into grounds. No alcohol is to be consumed in
the ground or premises during the period of any match, except as may be governed
by the terms of the club licence with regard to its own members, but, not withstanding
such, no alcohol is to be taken or consumed outside the licensed clubhouse or any
other authorised area during such match period or brought into the ground.
(v) Public Liability Insurance must be in place.
(vi) Goal Line Technology shall be available to assist the Match Official where a tie is
played at a ground where Goal Line Technology is installed and the Match
Official(s) have been trained in its use. Clubs shall comply with any protocol for use
of Goal Line Technology issued by The Association from time to time, and for the
avoidance of doubt neither The Association nor any Club or operator of a ground
shall be liable for failure of Goal Line Technology where the relevant Goal Line
Technology system otherwise complies with all applicable technical, maintenance
and licensing requirements.

kick in at semi final and final level?
Only thinking about previous years when I have watched semis at Maine Road and the Etihad as well as finals at Maine Road, The Etihad, The Swamp, Stamford Bridge and Anfield. Or is the memory playing tricks again?
Big attendances at all as well.

That's a peculiar requirement really because it doesn't state that the youth cup matches have to be played there, I can't see the Mini-Etihad being found wanting by the FA in any case. It certainly meets all of the criteria.SaddleworthBlueRhino said:Thanks. Good work.

I had a look at the attendances for the 6th round proper just out of interest:
http://www.thefa.com/fa-youth-cup/results
1 Leicester City v Birmingham City - 1,696
2 Newcastle United v Chelsea - 11,664
3 Manchester City v Crewe Alexandra - 1,416
4 Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur - 4,053
The Newcastle v Chelsea was free entry for all at St. James and is a really impressive attendance, I actually checked a couple of different sites and that is genuine.
Forest had the same deal as ourselves with free entry for ST holders (£4 for non-ST holders) so again, not a bad turn out.
Leicester again had the same deal as us with free entry for ST holders (£3 for non-ST holders). A little more than us.
We, unfortunately, had the poorest attendance although the weather looked horrible last night. Still a little disappointing.
