Thanks. Good work.

Does

(ii) A Club must have regular use of an enclosed ground where all home First Team
League matches are played, where a charge for admission and the attendance must
be taken in all matches in the Competition.

kick in at semi final and final level?

Only thinking about previous years when I have watched semis at Maine Road and the Etihad as well as finals at Maine Road, The Etihad, The Swamp, Stamford Bridge and Anfield. Or is the memory playing tricks again?

Big attendances at all as well.
That's a peculiar requirement really because it doesn't state that the youth cup matches have to be played there, I can't see the Mini-Etihad being found wanting by the FA in any case. It certainly meets all of the criteria.

I had a look at the attendances for the 6th round proper just out of interest:

http://www.thefa.com/fa-youth-cup/results

1 Leicester City v Birmingham City - 1,696

2 Newcastle United v Chelsea - 11,664

3 Manchester City v Crewe Alexandra - 1,416

4 Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur - 4,053

The Newcastle v Chelsea was free entry for all at St. James and is a really impressive attendance, I actually checked a couple of different sites and that is genuine.

Forest had the same deal as ourselves with free entry for ST holders (£4 for non-ST holders) so again, not a bad turn out.

Leicester again had the same deal as us with free entry for ST holders (£3 for non-ST holders). A little more than us.

We, unfortunately, had the poorest attendance although the weather looked horrible last night. Still a little disappointing.
its a (were a pisspoor football club and our only sniff of any semblence, of glory is our world beating youth team) hence the hundreds of crewe fans ,no disrespect crewe,i was thinking about a certain premier legue club
errr... yes?

Apparently Talkshite reported our youth team squad cost £30m, TBF we have probably paid fees for some players but £30m? More talkshite bullshit? Anyone got any info on any fees that may have been paid?

A fabrication from a bitter and spiteful radio station that hates City. Our youth team yesterday cost peanuts if they're referring to that. I think the most we've ever paid is about £3m for Pozo.

Well they can talk any shite they want because no one at city gives a toss about the most listen to radio station in the U.K. Spouts! Personally I'd be on there case every lie they spout!!

He did say squad rather than team but even then you would need to figure in every possible add-on (which may never get paid) for every player and include players like Iheanacho, Nwakali & Bruno Zucculini (£3.5 mill ?) and then double it at the very least.

Only one of which has featured for the youth team and that was for 10 mins.

Zuculini is 21 and was a transfer for the first team, not the kids.

We know that but it wouldn't stop talkshite from including him.

I'm gathering they made a big thing about the quality performances from the five English lads in the team, playing like continentals, & how it filled them with optimism for the future ?

Of course they did, I'll come back with links to all the articles that covered it in depth later.

Just out of interest I looked up Chelsea's starting 11 against Newcastle and was actually very surprised. They had 9 English, 1 Belgian and 1 who has a choice of 4 different countries (including England) but seems to prefer USA. I think all but 1 (perhaps it was 2) of the subs were English too.

No doubt if we get to the final and it's against Chelsea, the media can use that as a stick to beat us with. Certainly Jose will.

The youth team we have at the moment will be our 'class of 92'

So much talent in there right now. Let Vieira take the reins of the first team next season and bring Lopes, Denayer, Angelino, Maffeo, Evans and barker with him. These boys are hungry to prove themselves and would never give a performance like the one against liverpool last weekend. Bring in that amount of youth and we will be written off by the 'you can never win anything with kids' brigade, perfect! let them write us off, lower the pressure on our boys and see what happens. keep our spine of Hart, Kompany, zab, SIlva and Aguero to help integrate the boys in then let them do what theyve been doing so well for the last 2 years
