Think he's contracted until summer 2020, by which stage he'll be 30. Not sure we need to offer any contract extension at this point.

I think we would have been in a fight for the title without Delph, or at least not as dominant as we have been. After Mendi went down so early getting someone so fantastic slotting in was our main concern i'd say. I am so happy for him being so integral to our title win, he will always have this now rather than sitting on the bench, well made up for him.

More Premier League winner medals than Gerrard. Brilliant, and really well deserved.

Just watching a reply of the debate on sky. They're looking at the potential squad picking from 35 players. No mention of Delf.
When he's played this season has been exceptional & deserves to be in the squad.

They did eventually mention him but dismissed him as not as good as Rose or Bertrand. If you prize the ability to overlap etc most highly, that is fair but, overall, he hs had a better season than either of those and, as I just said about Danilo, he has been part of a squad that has had a record breaking season under the best coach in the world in the toughest league in the world so he really ought to be the kind of guy you want in your World Cup squad. Delph is a champion, not a choker from Spurs.
