Fabian Delph

Only see it happening if Fernando was being moved on and he could take his place in the squad with the advantage of being homegrown. Not as a fall back to Pogba.

Doubt it somehow.

Actually think Delph could be a really good signing for us if it were to come off

I agree with you.

He is no lesser player than Milner imo. Good alround player who would help the team press the ball & get it back for the footballers to play. Quick into the tackle & perfectly decent on the ball, plus high energy & the ability to nick an occasional goal.

We need homegrown players but Delph would be a pointless signing. He'd barely get a game and he's one of those players that flatters to deceive. He runs about, is good on the ball but it average in defence and attack so ends up running in circles, confusing himself and giving the ball away. He's in the England side at the moment, he won't be if he joins us. It's a stupid move for him to make.

Nobody will replace Pogba if we don't get him. It's just a case of strengthening the squad, irrespective of whether we get him or not.

Over the last few games he's been England's best player,he certainly tries, but as a lot have said it's hardly a smart move, but into 1/4 on skybet theres some truth in it somewhere, plus that magical symbol of what we need applies again........ HG !!!!!

problem is he won't get much playing time and when he does the pressure to perform will be high if he doesn't perform he will be related to a bit time player..

The betting markets on player moves are very weak, a couple of hundred quid could move the price from 4/6 to 1/4, I wouldn't be judging the likelihood of a move happening on a price change on the betting market. You wouldn't be able to get a decent sized bet on a transfer happening as the bookies won't take it (for fear of inside knowledge).

No that's a fair point, however it's more than a few hundred quid to bring the price down that much believe me

It depends on how much has been wagered on that event in total. For instance a £500 bet on the Grand National would likely do nothing to the overall odds. But a £500 bet on a donkey race on Blackpool beach would probably trigger some odds changes.

Only Clichy and Sterling (if he signs) as Association players Hart and Wright make up the other 2. In prem we can have up to eight to make the 25 up. In CL I suspect Wright will not be included meaning even with Sterling only got three players. If Delph is back up to Wiltshire I don't have an issue with that.
