Fabregas red card vs Lyon last night

Given a yellow, reviewed on VAR and upgraded to a red.

Is it a red card offence?

Can't work out whether he meant it but based on our game vs Chelsea a couple of years back where he was a right snide fucker, i'm saying it's deliberate and he deserves the red.

I agree, looks deliberate to me.
 
Bugged me so much that they kept saying only ex-pro's can make these decisions. You'd have defenders saying one thing, attackers saying another and Michael Owen sending the VAR officials asleep. I thought it was a harsh red and the attacker doesn't have the ball under control so not denying a clear goal scoring opportunity in my opinion but intent is immaterial

You can't tell from the brief clip but Monaco were actually attacking, Fabregas was the furthest player forwards and got sent off for fouling the defender.
 
Might have been the same game, MCFC1993, I recall one game Dean was reffing I think, where he committed 12/15 fouls and was never booked. Snidey, evil little git who got further than his ability should have him. IMHO of course.
 
I think he’s a snidely little ****, but don’t think he meant that for once
