I think Pellegrini will be a factor in Carlos staying, players like him and Nasri need an arm around them all the time and just seem to moan under dictatorial managers like Mancini.

Frankly I'd rather have anyone than Suarez. What was all this stuff I was reading from Soriano the other day? One big family, all for one, one for all stuff. "Here you go skipper, here's your new player, show him around would you? Try to ignore the fact that he racially abused a fellow pro and bit another one eh? I'd like to think we have more class than to sign this obnoxious little twunt, and I hope that if we do the chairman receives a stack of transfer requests on his desk the following day, because, frankly, he'd deserve it.

Aguero has scored 3 fewer league goals in 14 fewer games. Generally accepted that he's not clinical. He also hasn't racially abused an opponent before, as far as I'm aware.

Suárez is quality but definitely up for debate as to whether he's a clinical striker.

Not clinical... just shoots a LOT. 23 goals from 187 shots (goal per 8.1 shots). Aguero - 12 goals from 86 shtos (goal per 7.1 shots). Neither have been clinical compared to some (Cavani - 29 goals from 159 shots, goal per 5.4 shots - that's almost 3 shots less than Suarez he needs to score).
