Falcao or Suarez

Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

No mate,i just cant be arsed with posters point scoring or attempting to belittle people, far too much of it on here and it fucking bores me.

Last few years Chelsea done great things on transfer market and in lot of cases bought good players for good price. Torres was last player they overpaid. Hazard maybe a bit too but his quality and age cancel that.

Luiz, Cahill, Azpilixxx, Ramires, Oscar, Moses, Hazard, Ba, Marin, Mata, De Bryne, Lukaku, Atletico goalkeeper..

All great signings and some of them very cheap for team with their spending reputation. And all young players that will serve them for many years. Marin is only transfer I don't understand, never stood a chance to take a place in that team.

We can say this or that but their scouting and transfer targets were almost perfect in last few years, best in England and could only be challenged by king of transfer market Milan's Galliani.

Chelsea have spent nearly £200m the past two seasons, with Hazard, Mata, Lukaku and arguably Oscar the only players I'd say I'd have in our team.

Their transfer policy isn't particularly earth shattering or worth mirroring. Especially when you take into account the combined £90m they paid for Torres and Shevchenko.

Any youngsters they sign aren't unheard of, they just offer more appeal to a young lad with more money than sense.

I wouldn't call Cahill a great signing. He's not a top level player. Luiz can be awful too. Their midfield signings have been excellent.

For a money they paid for Cahill it's very good signing. He's obviously not world's best but they paid small amount for quality squad member. His performances in last year's Champions League semis and final when they were in defense crisis with Tery and Ivanovic suspended paid off that amount if he would never play another game for them.

Luiz does have it's moments but he was pretty good in a role Benitez had put him in. And he is important character in their dressing room, I can see him becoming the captain of their new team.

Suarez has no release clause but the owners are in financial difficulties and would accept a 40M bid. This will be offered to clubs next week.

On Twatter

Haha. Please stop regurgitating nonsense.
Fenway sports group in financial difficulty? Lol
These guys will never want for money.

According to Ballague, Suarez is looking to leave Anfield, apparantly wife has to bugger off during the winter cannot stand the cold and he understands he has a 35m euro release clause which means he would be available for about 30m. He is wanted by Athletico Madrid who see him as a replacement for Falcao. Putting two and two together seems logical that is where he will go for his benefit (new start) and that of his family who I am sure will find climate a tad easier to tolerate.

On the other hand if Tevez leaves and given the speculation that Pellegrini has said he wants Suarez it would be a nice little partnership between Saurez and Cavani or Aguero Cavani or Aguero and Saurez. We could probably get away with the first ten games without him. If this is all correct then Dzeko to go, Tevez to go.

Reason Saurez wants out is to win things and play in CL in the prime of his career and doesn't see his ambitions being realised where they are.

You make of it what you want, personally if we had a strike partnership of those three we would rip up the league but become a magnet for the press in terms of bad press (but we have to cope with that anyway).

Yes they are better at signing a consistent quality, rarely do they sign a pup.
Boulahrouz - £12m
Shevchenko - £40m
Di Santo - £4m
Belletti - £5m
Malouda - £17m
Bosingwa - £18m
Deco - £9m
Zhirkov - £18m
Benayoun - £6m
de Bruyne - £7m
Meireles - £12m
Wallace - £5m
Marin - £7m

That's £160m, spent on players of a "higher standard" than ours. Not even taking into account there fantastic policy of spending £50m on Torres.

Add Veron and Crespo, Mutu & Kezman to that list.

What about winston bogarde - legend!

Luiz is a phenomena. Not seen any defender who can strike a ball, or make a pass like he can, but he does sometimes make silly defensive mistakes. Got a really nasty streak to his game too

Chelsea bought well with one huge catastrophic decision - no striker.

They had to buy though as their team was ageing and they still have a few issues. The full backs need changing and maybe they need another centre-back, all in addition to a centre-forward

Man Luiz for 26 mil, Moses for 9 mil and Ramires for 18mil are all shocking deals, Oscar in my opinion for 25mil is also a rip off although he and Lukaku could yet live up to their pricetag, Marin was also a bad deal like Sinclair for us he may have been cheap but 7mil for someone who doesnt play? And remember De Bruyne and Courtois havnt kicked a ball for Chelsea they may flop in the EPL, Azpilicueta, Ba and Cahil were bargains most of their squad they either paid too much or around about the right money for(Mata, Hazard and Ivanovi). But i do believe they have afew very very good young players I would love us to poach Loftus-Cheek or Ake!

Liverpool "looking" at a bid from City or so they say..Apparently we are the highest bidder so far then.

Not very keen on Suarez myself..

I'd take Suarez, as long we get him into some kind of shock therapy treatment for whenever he opens his mouth on the pitch. He can breath through his nose.

Doesn't sound like Suarez wants to stay in the country if those quotes are true. Though that is something again, if true, he should keep his mouth shut about. Even if he has no desire to stay in England it doesn't help Liverpool's position removing us from the auction.

Is that the one that pronounced his name Bohard

He is a world class forward, fast, great movement and a very clinical finisher. He has been employed in a very average Liverpool team but still knocked in 23 goals this season.

Put him in a better quality side and this fella could easily break the 30 goals a season mark. Yes it might be a gamble based on his previous but I can see why he would be an option.

I've said many times on this forum how Suarez is a world class player and would hugely improve our team, he might even score over 30 goals, but he's not close to being a clinical finisher. Like Aguero he bags probably 1 every 4 good chances.
