City supporters from all over Greater Manchester are being urged to show their true colours, by dressing head to toe in Blue, for this Sunday’s top of the table clash with Spurs.

Blue scarves, hats, gloves, jumpers, coats, kits, T-shirts and faces are the order of the day. Basically, the bluer the better…

The blue call to arms is part of a new digital FanCam experiment, set to take the Etihad Stadium by storm.

City Fan Cam - say (blue) cheese!

During Sunday’s game, the Club will be filming a 360 degree, ultra high resolution image of inside the stadium. Its purpose is to not only capture the passion and humour among City fans on a match day, but also create the ultimate, one-of-a kind, digital supporter experience. This will be available for fans to find themselves from Tuesday 24th January.

The 5 billion pixel HD digital image will then be uploaded on to the Club website later in the week - allowing fans to zoom in and tag each other on Facebook and share it on Twitter with friends.

As if that not all, there will also be a competition for the best dressed Blues on the day, with the prize of a life time up for grabs.

The lucky winners will earn their place alongside the likes of Mario Balotelli, Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany ad model the new home kit in the official team photo, for the upcoming 2012/13 season.

So if you, your mates or maybe your family fancy lining up next to Roberto’s superstars, dust off your Santa Stroll suits and fancy dress costumes, to help turn the Etihad Stadium into a sea of blue this Sunday.

should be fun, but sounds a bit cheesy kinda the whole commercialisation of football aspect, not knocking btw

I should stand out like a sore thumb in my near black winter coat, and navy hat.

Don't have anything blue suitable to wear at this time of year and certainly no going to try and squeeze a City shirt over the top of my nice warm coat.

Why couldn't they have waited until the better weather at the end of April beginning of May?

Also confirms we will be having a new home kit for the 4th season in a row since we changed to Umbro!!
Go back to the last season of Reebok and it works out the new shirt will be the 7th straight season we've changed the home.

Yeah I thought myself to, but with the change of sponsor and kit manufacturer at that time I could understand it, but since changing from Le Coq Sportif, we've had Umbro & Etihad yet still change the home shirt! We'll be due another 3rd shirt soon as the current Navy one (which has yet to be worn this season) will be 2 years old. They may even put the red/black stripes to 3rd shirt next season and bring out an new away kit to!!?? lol.
