As mentioned on another thread ( http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=168385 )

I am a third year business student looking to complete a survey, based on the service perceptions, expectations and what the fans actually recieve. I have now finished designing this survey (based on the SERVQUAL) framework, and would appreciate it if as many members as possible would fill it out for me.

It shoud only take 5 mins of your time, and would be beneficial for both myself, and for you, should the club wish to see the final report, and act upon any findings.

Please note, this is not for my dissertation though, but for a services marketing module, so sadly the word count is restricted to 3,000 words, so wont be able to go into as much depth as I would like.

The URL for the survey is: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dG4tT3FwTS1MWnJRSlRNUTE0NFJaNVE6MA

If you do complete it, thank you for your time in advance, and should you have any questions, please PM me, or reply to this thread.

Having read through the survey, the first point i have is that most of the people we encounter at matches are not City Employees, but contracted by others to work for the club on matchday only

will do it when i get back from the match pal

Cheers, thanks to uni work, im stuck watchin it on the tinterweb :(, at least its meant to be on liveonlinefooty. That site is a godsend when I can't get to the match, well worth the £6.25 for 2 months, and not have to keep looking round for streams.

I'm still counting them as staff for this study, but would it be OK if i cited your message in my work, as its a really good point.

Done ..............

Hope it helps ......... sorry my reply is 100% negative, but can only respond based on my one & only interaction with the club ......

TTFN
NSF

If your reply is 100% negative, that gives me lots more to talk about in the report :) but doubt the blokes in suits at city would be too happy about that

One of the big problems is the standard of casual employees

A big thank you to everybody who has completed the survey so far.

Yes, when I have been at the ground too, I have seen how the casual employees can spoil a fans afternoon/night, with their can't be arsed attitude, or over the top when it comes to the stewards (e.g. going in hard for one guy, then causing more trouble when other fans rally round him/her etc)

Don't worry, it will be an area where I will pay particular attention too.

Please take this as constructive criticism aimed at getting you better marks and also a more professional look to your survey. Especially if you are intending to send it to City.

There are a number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors - the introduction puts me off immediately and I am sure you know that first impressions count, when your Tutors come to assess your work.

Good luck all the same - I wish you the best.

Once again, thanks to everybody who has taken the time to respond.

Once I have completed my report, I will publish a PDF version on here for you all to read should you so wish.

However, with the grade ratification board not meeting until early July time, I am unsure if I can do it until then (e.g. conflict of interest etc). but bear with me on it.

Once again, sincere thanks.

John.

-- Tue Mar 30, 2010 6:57 pm --

A BIG THANK YOU for everybody who took the time to fill out the survey.

I am in the process of writing the report now, and thus I have set the survey to no longer accept responses.

Should you wish to raise any issues, either with the survey, or your service perceptions at city, please PM me.

Best regards,

John.
