been tryin to reply to your pm..but it wont send it for some reason..message stuck in my outbox...anyway...try this

download adaware (http://esd.element5.com/affiliate.h...67017dc13e6bfc2e2a7337e2a/spyware/aaw2007.exe)

download spybot S&D (http://files3.majorgeeks.com/files/5da95a167017dc13e6bfc2e2a7337e2a/spyware/spybotsd14.exe)

install and update both..then run...fix any problems you have

i suspect you may have a trojan downloader or something called "virtumondo" which causes pop-ups to various sites. sometimes it will clear it...other times it wont as it will be written into your pc registry, so when you remove it and reboot..the registry entry tells it to restart and install again

i ended up having to download the latest norton and that eventually got rid of it

Shady!!

The requested URL /files/5da95a167017dc13e6bfc2e2a7337e2a/spyware/aaw2007.exe was not found on this server.

I can not get those links to work mate tells as above, luckily i already had that Spybot so i ran it and it cleared up a few things dont know wot they were really but any way i have got rid of the viruses it told me to get rid of,

Any way i still seem to be stuck with this daft problem of pages just popping up every so often so its not really that bad as it only does it say once an hour or so,

but obviously there is some thing wrong, wot is interesting though it only does it in Firefox and when i use seamonkey it does not do it at all, so i wondered if the virus had just attached it self to my Firefox so i un-installed it and re-loaded it again but the problem seemed to still continue so now i am a bit stuck with wot to do,

I noticed you mentioned Norton now is that a free version you mention and can i just download it or is it the one i have to buy?

Maybe that bit of extra information i said about wot with it just happening in Firefox is of any use to you but at the moment i have drawn a bit of a blank, any other ideas mate, i dont know, maybe i should re-install windows even though that seems a bit drastic and i would lose alot of my files or maybe just forget about firefox and just stick to Seamonkey or e Explorer?

Sorry about these mad problems but any more advice would really be appreciated..

Thanks again Rob!!
