Welchman said that Hut 6 at Bletchley Park would never have existed were it not for the polish cipher bureau. Though Bletchley absolutely acknowledges all of this and has Zygalski's military cap on display it would be great to see something bigger like the statue of Rejewski that there is in Poland, or something similar, replicated at Bletchley. Good job that the likes of Turing, Welchman, Zygalski and Rejewski were less interested in nationalistic flag waving bollocks and more interested in doing the hard yards. Though it was ultimately the laziness of some of the German operators that screwed them and wot won it for the allies!

And yes it's got nothing to do with the thread subject but this thread has long since lost the plot anyway.
