I’m quite content that there’s only one fucking weirdo in this exchange and it ain’t me.
Not on this occasion anyway.

You’ve chosen to kick off when I said in this thread that they will be pictures from years ago, which they quite clearly are.

The other day I had read the rumours which many others had, when information came out that these weren’t true then I didn’t remain “adamant” that he was in his 30s and “fresh of the boat”.

I haven’t been on any “far-right” marches nor have I smashed up any towns. I’m no lover of the left and I think there are issues with this country, which now aren’t relevant to this thread. Despite what you may think people who share these views aren’t uneducated thickos.

Again, I think they are pictures from when he was quite a bit younger, maybe because more up to date ones aren’t available now. Not because of some conspiracy.

I am not sure it could be claimed to be excellent. Effective, yes, but there seems to have been significant overreach. There is a balance to be struck with the right to protest. It will play on to the hands of those claiming two tier policing because more overt criminality has been obvious on other protests this year and the police have not intervened. Last night was more akin to a police state.

Did you want a repeat of Southport? No. The Met gave the 'protestors' a prescribed location/route for their protest-which is the law-breach it you get nicked. Commit public order offences-get nicked.

If staffing etc allows its always better to take out the ring leaders/gobby ones because it tends to suppress the rest.
