hang on, mourinho's sides play 'wank, boring football', but he seems to be the silver bullet solution to all our problems according to most on here.

But Mourinho wins something everywhere he goes, he's charismatic and despite rumours to the contrary his sides do play nice stuff at times.

Fat Sam on the other hand is an odious, self important idiot with a penchant for transfer "irregularities". He reduces football to pro-zone stats and percentage football and he drains all entertainment from the game, no neutral would really look forward to a game involving one of his teams. His favourite English centre forward is Kevin Davies, he once sported a moustache and his limitations were seriously found out at Newcastle. I hate this guy more than any other manager in the top flight, at least the twitcher n purple nose play nice stuff.

I would say that at whatever price we pay for Santa Cruz it would be a gamble anything over £7m and it would be a fucking expensive gamble, if they have turnrd down £15m MARK LAD, HE AIN'T FOR SALE MOVE ON.

Hopefully the board wont go spunking millions of £'s over the odds on what for me isn't a guaranteed solution in Santa Cruz. If we start doing business this way it will be a fast way for people to become very resentful, very quickly about our previously much lauded football club.
The sounds coming out of the club in terms of a short>medium term plan are reassuring we just have to be a little patient and give our support to MH to BUILD a squad with a team that in 2-3 seasons will attract some world class players. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here at let our wealth go to our heads...

Totally agree hes marginally better than any striker we have at the mo, but not good enough to take us where we want to go he is a big fish in a shit filled pond at blackburn, he will just be another poor signing in terms of striking capabilities for us
